Oli was initially recognized as a Blues Musician, winning several awards as Best Guitarist, Best Band, Best Singer at the British Blues Awards. Through his solo career he toured and supported artists such as Joe Satriani, John Mayall and Buddy Guy.
Craving a change in musical direction and a departure from his roots, Oli formed the rock band “RavenEye”. Starting out with a 5 track EP that caught the attention of Slash who proceeded to bring the band on tour through Europe & USA.
The band went on to release their debut album ‘NOVA’ and took their incendiary live headline show across USA, UK & Europe and South America. A European tour with KISS helped cement the band’s footprint in Europe, along with tours with Deep Purple, Aerosmith, The Darkness, Hellyeah, Halestorm, Blues Pills and major UK, US & European Festivals; Download (UK & Madrid), Reading & Leeds, Ramblin’ Man, Hellfest, Aftershock, Louder Than Life.
Oli used the time during the worldwide lockdown to reconnect with his own songwriting and lyrics, resulting in the recording of a stunning new studio album with undeniable songs. It all comes from a unique and honest place, the perfect blend of Oli's origins and distinctive alternative roots sound with the weight and earnestness of RavenEye.
